Never Close Your Eyes

I know lots of people who have stayed in dead-end relationships, and that’s where they still are. I don’t know anyone who left a dead-end relationship who then spent the rest of her (or his) life alone, if the leaving was done with a truthful intent to self-examine, grow up a little, and be genuinely open to something real and better.
